I have interviewed people sometimes and they have become upset whilst discussing issues. This makes me wonder if it should be something we are doing but I always offer a break or ending the interview and people always want to continue and report enjoying the experience to share afterwards. This is very reassuring and telling their stories is very important.
I have definitely had moments during intervention studies where I have been worried we won’t see the effects we want, however, the end result has always justified the intervention to date.
Ethics are typically very robust processes and undergo review to ensure that appropriate measures are in place. There have been times when a reviewer may come back and suggest that an additional security measure is included at which point it can be permitted. I think it has to be very carefully thought out regardless of your area but in interpersonal violence there have been some challenges considering the subject matter

what careers can you do with psychology a level?

Hi- with psychology a level you might consider going on to do a psychology degree accredited by the BPS. Take a look at the BPS careers page – https://www.bps.org.uk/career-options-psychology
Otherwise psychology a level is a good all round a level to have for several other degrees.
