      This is a great question! Yes it absolutely can, lack of sleep over time can affect your energy for communication during the day but also your behaviour and reactions to people, so you may be more irritable when tired, have less patience.

      People who have ADHD or are autistic can also be more impacted by lack of sleep, as it can exaggerate any social and emotional symptoms or difficulties they may already be experiencing.
