  I don’t know how much funding they get but it does come from various sources, for example, student fees, staff research, and staff consultation work and local partnerships.

  Hi- This depends on the institution, and the staff, as many departments rely on grants from external funders, student fees etc. but from central university there is a budget set each year to run the department.
