Asking myself questions like what is the worst that can happen? telling myself that whateverstressor I am experiencing will be next weeks chip paper and asking myself will I be worrying about this in a months time, if not why worry about it now
I’ve found trying to be kinder to myself has helped a lot! It can be easy to be hard on yourself at times, but always treat yourself the same way you’d treat your best friend 😊
Joining a running group was great for me to make friends when I moved to a new area and I got fit at the same time which has additional benefits. Drawing upon social support from friends or family can be really useful when dealing with challenges or dilemmas.
I find that walking my dog in the forest everyday gives me time to think, time to put away my phone and just be present. The exercise and that time, no matter the weather, really helps my mood for the day.
It’s important to be kind to yourself. Take your breaks, maybe have a certain area where you work and an area where you relax (e.g. don’t work in bed), make sure to keep up with your hobbies and things you enjoy, have set times in which you work
